To further deepen school-enterprise cooperation and promote in-depth integration of industry, academia, and research, on March 18, Zhang Zhihuan, Deputy General Manager of Langfang Northern Tianyu Electromechanical Technology Co., Ltd. (affiliated to China North Industries Group Corporation), led a team to visit the School of Mechanical Engineering of Tianjin University of Science and Technology. The two parties conducted in-depth exchanges on topics such as deepening industry-academia-research cooperation and co-building a technological innovation platform. Professor Li Wenhui, Dean of the School of Mechanical Engineering, Professors Li Ya and Li Jianyu, Vice Deans, and teachers from relevant teams attended the symposium.

At the symposium, Dean Li Wenhui warmly welcomed the delegation from Northern Tianyu Electromechanical Technology Co., Ltd. on behalf of the school, and gave a detailed introduction to the school's advantages and achievements in discipline construction, scientific research platforms, and talent cultivation. He emphasized that the school has always adhered to serving national strategies and industrial development, and is committed to innovative research in fields such as high-end equipment manufacturing and intelligent manufacturing. He expressed the expectation to carry out in-depth cooperation with Northern Tianyu Electromechanical Technology Co., Ltd. based on the platform of the Institute of High-End Manufacturing Finishing Technology and Intelligent Control in these fields, jointly tackle industry technical challenges, and provide strong impetus for industrial upgrading and technological innovation.

Deputy General Manager Zhang Zhihuan stated that the company is affiliated to the Power Research Institute of China North Industries Group Corporation. Northern Tianyu has accumulated profound experience in the R&D of precision electromechanical equipment and is currently accelerating its transformation towards intelligence and digitalization, which urgently requires support from universities in technology R&D and talent cultivation. He expressed the expectation to deepen the "industry-academia-research-application" integration mechanism based on the co-built Institute of High-End Manufacturing Finishing Technology and Intelligent Control, and form a joint force for technological research in directions such as intelligent equipment, process optimization, and quality control.

During the symposium, the two parties conducted in-depth discussions on project cooperation and reached a number of cooperation consensuses. They unanimously agreed to give full play to their respective advantages, establish a long-term and stable cooperative relationship, conduct regular exchanges and mutual visits, jointly explore new models of school-enterprise collaborative education, provide more practical opportunities and employment platforms for students, and at the same time deliver more outstanding professional talents to enterprises.

The School of Mechanical Engineering has actively implemented the "Pioneer Plan" and achieved remarkable results in deepening school-enterprise cooperation. In the next step, the school will establish a regular communication mechanism with Northern Tianyu Electromechanical, formulate a cooperation framework agreement, promote the implementation of specific cooperation projects, and provide strong support for the technological progress and industrial upgrading of the industry.
