On July 10, Zhou Haijun, Chairman of China National Packaging and Food Machinery Co., Ltd., and his delegation visited Tianjin University of Science and Technology. The visit focused on in-depth research regarding the deepening of university-enterprise cooperation and the undertaking of the North China Division competition of the "China University Students' Packaging and Food Engineering Innovation Competition". Gao Faming, Vice President of our university, along with relevant responsible persons and teachers from the School of Mechanical Engineering, participated in the discussion and exchange.

Zhou Haijun gave a detailed explanation of China National Packaging and Food Machinery Co., Ltd.'s business areas, scientific research, and technological achievement transformation. He focused on introducing the company's advantages in tackling key major scientific and technological projects and equipment integration design, as well as its long-term and close university-enterprise cooperation with Tianjin University of Science and Technology.

Subsequently, Zhao Dan, Secretary-General of the Packaging and Food Engineering Branch of the Chinese Mechanical Engineering Society, and Associate Professor Zheng Zhaoqi from the School of Mechanical Engineering introduced the "China Packaging Cup" 2025 China University Students' Packaging and Food Engineering Innovation Competition and the organization of the North China Division.

Leaders and experts present conducted in-depth discussions on the preliminary preparation work of the competition and the implementation plan of the North China Division, and put forward constructive suggestions from multiple perspectives. Zhou Xin, Deputy Director of the Editorial Department of Hefei General Machinery Research Institute Co., Ltd., introduced the development of the journalPackaging and Food Machinery.

The successful holding of this exchange activity has laid a solid foundation for the subsequent cooperation between China National Packaging and Food Machinery Co., Ltd. and our university. The two parties conducted in-depth discussions on topics such as scientific research cooperation, achievement transformation, talent cultivation, student employment, and university student competitions, and reached consensus in multiple fields.
