To further enhance the college's overall educational strength and promote high-quality connotative development, from July 14 to 15, all faculty and staff of the School of Mechanical Engineering held a two-day work summary and high-quality development seminar themed "Building a Strong Synergy to Write a New Chapter of Development". The seminar closely centered closely centered on the goal of building a high-level research university, highlighted the main line of constructing a distinctive, innovative and high-level research-oriented college, and focused on key areas such as the college's development orientation, talent cultivation, scientific research and faculty team construction.

Dean Li Wenhui delivered a keynote report at the opening ceremony. He comprehensively summarized the college's achievements in talent cultivation, scientific research innovation, discipline construction and social services in the first half of the year, objectively analyzed the current shortcomings and bottlenecks, and put forward clear ideas and practical measures for the development in the second half of the year and even in the long run. The report pointed out that the college will continue to deepen the reform of education and teaching, optimize the discipline and professional structure, strengthen the construction of the faculty team, actively introduce and train young teachers, improve the construction of laboratories and scientific research platforms, promote the output of high-level scientific research achievements. In the subsequent group discussion session, the college set up a number of special groups according to different sections such as talent cultivation, scientific research innovation and management services.Department-level Discussion: Various departments mainly conducted in-depth exchanges on how to further improve the quality of talent cultivation, focusing on aspects such as the revision of training programs, the construction of micro-majors, the cultivation of young teachers, the construction of laboratories, the optimization and adjustment of disciplines and majors, the full tutor system, the formation of teaching teams, engineering education certification and the improvement of teaching effectiveness.
